Fisheries Statistician/Economist Needed in Woods Hole, MA

 Integrated Statistics is looking for a fisheries statistician/economist to work with the Social Sciences Branch in Woods Hole, MA on economic impact analyses.

We need someone for the following duties:

1. Assist Plan Development Teams (PDTs) and Fishery Management Action Teams (FMATs) as assigned.

2. Provide background information, data summaries, and analyses for the Affected Human Environment, Economic Impact and Initial Regulatory Flexibility Analysis for Environmental Impact Assessments.

3. Prepare technical reports and presentation about the above analyses.

4. Organize existing materials for the Council staff as directed.

5. Provide support in the drafting of technical reports or articles for journals.

6. Assist in the presentation of research results at technical conferences and workshops.

Requirements:  Degree in mathematics, statistics, economics or similar (ops research, etc).
Experience with economic and/or statistical modeling (regression, ANOVA, and similar)
Experience with conducting data analysis using large datasets, SQL and SAS.
Very preferable: experience with fishery-dependent Center data (VTR, DLR, OBS, VMS)
